ok is time to tell what is wedding
from the moment i step in to my grandmom's house, non stop entertaint the cousins & relatives
thrusday night i reached home, take my dinner and durian - kind of relax at that time
friday-the day before wedding dinner (a big day)
woke up at 11pm start work as a gully
arrange and open the tables and chairs
is around 40 of tables and chairs
huge cook for lunch and dinner
lunch was lui cha...hakka traditional food
at that time also a lots of people come over and eat
because lots of them are helper, they help out a lots
and from that time on, is like so suffering
whether is so hot, the wind a re hot wind, cause people tastless
i felt that at that time, because i like lui cha so much but i cant eat much at that time
for our traditional, before the dinner night we will have a fried meehoon night at the groom' house
we invite the same people as they were also the dinner guest, but the different is this fried meehoon night's guest usually were relatives or friends who stay nearby, who can come easily
and because our family business is a knownable sundries shop in whole town
so is like invited the whole town people
the whole back road of 8 houses was taken by us to put tables, chairs and summore got karaoke stage
in this night there were around 400+ people went....
CROWDED
my mom and my sis non stop filling the orange juices for them, me and my the other 2 sisters walking around, give out ice-creams and beers
luckily our house is a sundries shop
so is like for beers, juices, soft drink, tissues, etc...much more easy to get...just take, actually
oh~bride's families was there also, they're from melacca, and eventually the bride has a twins
most of the relatives don't know is like so confuse
haha
saturday - dinner (huge)
morning session we have to go to the bride's house to bring the bride to come over
woke up 7am , set up, prepare.......
hon hon hon~~~~ till the bride house
of cause the groom and best friends have to be played and make fun first before to get the bride from the bride's sisters hand
drink cuka, eat ginger, eat bread with dry chilli....OMG.....
summore have to sing love song, say 'i love u'
feel so awkward for me to see my cousin bro saying those word....
of cause cant lease of ang pao.....
and got 1 lady, dai kum je
she helps a lots on those wedding rules, and she really good in talking
summore i felt funny was, she felt annoyed by the games that set by the bride's sisters
haha
there's a rule, because i'm in the groom side, so when the bride get up to car or steps in the house, i also cant see.... is really bad to see...
so when we all girls turn back and not looking at, i felt bad.... is liek so rude... but no choice
so of cause the coming event was drink tea... jum cha
there's a lots of relatives need to jum cha
and wait for almost an hour just reach us, which non-married cousins to take ang pao
haha
we actually have to jum cha to him, luckily no need..... i cant imagine for me to jum cha to him
he just elder than me 4 months!
after all this jum cha, is lunch time
but this time is the most less people
but still gor 50 over people
after lunch i straight got to take nap.... is damn tired
around 4.30pm - time to prepare for the huge event
in invitation card we wroten that 7.00pm sharp
but there were guest that reached by 5.00pm...
wow early
we also like havent prepare well then have to rush to dinner place
guests were like over 700 people, so cant have it in a restaurent
so we have it at a big temple, ask the restaurent to cook it there
i drove my grandparents(mom's side) and her friends go over to the temple, and go back to fecth my cousins
start moving around, seeing around, talk with relatives, knowing them and let them know me
dinner starts when the new bird arrived, but because we have it in temple, so the new bird have to go pray first and then lead by my grandparents, the both parents, enter the dinner place
dinner half way, the new birds and both familes members have to go on stage to geng jao
is was really fun, and was the funniest part
cause my cousins back from canada feel fresh for all this, so we ask him to shout for the 3rd time of YUM SING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
he so blur, once get the mic and start shout.....shout before the mc say shout
hahahahahahahhahahahahahaha
after that... highlight,,, drink alcohol non stop
my dad cant drink alcohol, so i drink on behalf on him, to social the relatives
and some friends like drink alcohol as like drink water...
my cousin sister been beat down...............drink till vomit and saw her so suffering...
lucky i'm still ok
ends well and eat well
back to home, entertaint some friends then bath then sleep
THE END ... for me
but a brand new life for the new bird
memories, gethering, brand new experience of hosting a wedding, socialing
this is what i feel i get
i'm actually most happy to meet with my cousin sis and bro who stay far away in canada
but there's 1 more cousin sis counldn't come back... that's too bad......
